Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technically sound, efficient, and sustainable electrical engineering solutions. From design inception to final site commissioning, you will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Technical Design & Planning: Develop precise electrical designs and engineering solutions that optimize efficiency and sustainability.

• Project Oversight: Manage project lifecycles from planning through to execution, ensuring all milestones are met within scope and budget.

• Contractor Management: Oversee and coordinate with site contractors, ensuring workmanship aligns with design specifications and company standards.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including electrical layouts, schematics, and progress reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum of Second Class Lower).

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience within the construction and contractor management space.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Software: Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.

  • Office Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Core Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of electrical system design and construction quality control.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams on complex sites.

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying site-based technical issues.
