Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber and technically rigorous Production Supervisor to anchor our dairy manufacturing operations in Lagos. In the world of high-fidelity dairy ingredients, success is defined by "Throughput Integrity", the ability to harmonize complex mechanical systems with stringent food safety protocols to meet global demand. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" with 3–5 years of experience in FMCG/Packaging who can blend "Engineering Logic" with the "Leadership Grit" required to manage multidisciplinary teams and optimize high-speed production lines.
Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Production Fluidity and Food Safety Sovereignty." You will be the primary steward of the production floor: responsible for meeting aggressive quotas, troubleshooting sophisticated machinery, and upholding HACCP and Lean/Six Sigma standards. If you possess a "Problem-Solving Mindset" under pressure, a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and a passion for dairy innovation, we want you to drive our manufacturing sovereignty.

Workflow Optimization: Implement continuous improvement strategies to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and maximize the efficiency of dairy manufacturing and packaging processes.
Resource Stewardship: Maintain accurate, detailed records of material usage and production output, ensuring high levels of fiscal and operational transparency.
2. Quality & Food Safety Sovereignty
Compliance Rigor: Ensure all dairy products adhere strictly to global food safety standards, including HACCP, sanitation protocols, and rigorous quality control procedures.
Quality Benchmarking: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure every batch meets both company-specific and international industry standards.
Clean-Room Governance: Oversee sanitation cycles and environmental controls essential for dairy ingredient integrity.
3. Technical Leadership & Performance Engineering
Machine Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance of automated packaging and processing equipment, conducting real-time troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Team Mentorship: Manage, schedule, and train production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
Safety Advocacy: Enforce total compliance with safety regulations and procedures, protecting both the human and physical capital of the plant.
4. Cross-Functional Synergy & Reporting
Collaborative Logic: Coordinate seamlessly with Maintenance, Logistics, and QA teams to ensure equipment uptime and smooth raw material intake/finished goods dispatch.
Performance Reporting: Prepare high-fidelity production reports and staff timesheets for management review, providing data-driven insights for process refinement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience in FMCG manufacturing or high-speed packaging environments.
Methodology: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and packaging processes, with proficiency in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Core Competencies
