Job Description:
- The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all production activities, ensuring efficient food preparation, quality control, and adherence to operational standards.
- The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing production in a QSR environment and be able to drive efficiency, consistency, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities
- Ensure timely and efficient preparation of food items
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and quality.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all products meet company quality and presentation standards
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Team Management:
- Supervise and manage kitchen and production staff
- Train staff on production processes, standards, and best practices
- Monitor staff performance and ensure discipline.
Inventory & Cost Control:
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
- Work closely with the store team to ensure availability of ingredients
- Control production costs and improve efficiency.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in production processes
- Ensure standardization of recipes and portion control.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare production reports and track performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Food Science, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Production Manager in a QSR
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
