Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and commercially astute Procurement Officer to manage the lifecycle of our organization’s supply chain. In this role, you will be the bridge between our operational needs and our supplier network. Your primary goal is to ensure that the business has the resources it needs to operate at peak efficiency—without compromising on quality or budget. Requirements:
Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify and evaluate potential suppliers. You will manage the entire quotation-to-purchase process, ensuring we consistently secure the best value, terms, and delivery schedules.
Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for our supplier network. You will conduct regular performance reviews to ensure vendors meet our quality and timing standards, building professional relationships that provide long-term benefits to the company.
Inventory Integration: Work closely with warehouse and store personnel to maintain optimal stock levels. You will ensure that replenishment is timed to prevent shortages while avoiding the costs associated with over-purchasing.
Financial Stewardship: Monitor procurement spending against approved budgets. You will analyze price trends, identify cost-saving initiatives, and act as a gatekeeper to eliminate operational waste.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous records of all procurement activities. You will ensure that all purchases follow internal audit standards and that our documentation is always audit-ready.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. Direct experience in the hospitality sector is a distinct advantage.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis and tracking).
Familiarity with procurement software or inventory management systems is highly desirable.
