Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at Workforce Group. If you are a procurement professional with deep expertise in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction sector, we want to hear from you.

This role is for someone who understands that procurement in construction is about more than just buying goods, it is about technical precision, maintaining reliable relationships with suppliers, and ensuring that our projects stay on schedule and under budget. You will be our key link between our site teams and the market, ensuring we always have the right materials at the right time.

Requirements:

Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Drive Project Delivery: You will manage multiple vendors simultaneously, ensuring that all supplies arrive on time to meet tight project deadlines.

• Leverage Your Network: We are looking for someone who already knows the market. You will utilize your existing, verifiable network of suppliers to source high-quality MEP materials at competitive prices.

• Contract Strategy: Lead contract management efforts, ensuring that all procurement agreements align with our company standards and project requirements.

Technical Oversight

• Expert Knowledge: You will apply your technical knowledge of MEP materials, brands, and specifications to ensure we are purchasing the correct items for our construction needs.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials meet industry standards and site specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within MEP construction projects.

• Your Network: You bring a proven and verifiable network of suppliers and vendors for MEP materials. You know the market, you know the players, and you know how to get things done.

• Education: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Negotiation Skills: You are a skilled negotiator who understands how to manage contracts to the benefit of the project.

• Operational Mindset: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of handling multiple high-priority projects at once.
