Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Procurement Officer to anchor the resource engine of our FMCG operations in Ibadan. In a specialized manufacturing landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the supply and the precision of the budget utilization success is defined by "Resource Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-value CAPEX projects (machinery, infrastructure) with the clinical precision required for OPEX Continuity, Strategic Sourcing, and FMCG Market Benchmarking. This role is designed for a "Procurement Architect" specifically a professional with at least 5 years of experience who can blend "Industrial Grit" (managing equipment upgrades and installation works) with the "Analytical Agility" required to execute Spend Analysis and ERP-Driven Workflows.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Expenditure Governance

• Sovereignty of the Categories: Manage procurement for both CAPEX (machinery/infrastructure) and OPEX (raw materials/packaging) with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Readiness."

• Planning Architecture: Work with Engineering and Production to forecast capital investments and facility expansions, providing the "Structural Foundation" for long-term growth.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure all procurement aligns with financial approvals and audit requirements, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Transparency" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Sourcing Logic

• Negotiation Sovereignty: Engage and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best-value terms on cost and quality, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Efficiency."

• Continuity Architecture: Procure FMCG materials to ensure uninterrupted production, providing the "Functional Foundation" for supply chain resilience.

• Risk Stewardship: Mitigate supply chain risks by identifying alternative vendors and contingency options, maintaining the "Source of Operational Continuity."

3. Operational Integrity & Technical Power

• Systemic Sovereignty: Process all transactions through ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Odoo), acting as the primary "Source of Data Accuracy."

• Contract Architecture: Review and manage procurement contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), providing the "Relational Foundation" for supplier accountability.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of specialized FMCG procurement expertise to accelerate the "RFQ-to-Delivery" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.

• Technical Power: Elite proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) and Advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Certification: Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is a distinct advantage.

• Location: Ibadan, Oyo (Full-time).
