Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our team in Ilorin. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that we source high-quality materials and services at the best possible value while maintaining efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic negotiator who can build strong relationships with suppliers, manage procurement documentation, and ensure that our operational needs are met on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers; negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Procurement Process: Manage the full procurement cycle—from receiving purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders to tracking deliveries and verifying receipt of goods.

• Cost Control: Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to ensure competitive purchasing; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies; maintain accurate records of contracts, invoices, and supplier performance.

• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory levels are maintained and supply disruptions are minimized.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement spend, supplier performance, and pending deliveries to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Relevant academic qualification (HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field).

• Experience: Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing roles.
