Job Description:
We are seeking a high-precision Procurement Officer to serve as the strategic gatekeeper of our supply chain. In a competitive market, procurement is the engine of profitability, it requires a balance of analytical foresight and aggressive negotiation. This role is designed for a "Value Architect", someone with 3+ years of experience who can look beyond a price tag to analyze total cost of ownership, lead times, and vendor reliability.
Your mission is to ensure that our operations are fueled by high-quality, cost-effective resources. You will be responsible for the entire procurement lifecycle: from developing long-term sourcing strategies and conducting rigorous supplier evaluations to managing multi-departmental logistics and contract compliance. If you possess the "Analytical Grit" to forecast demand and the interpersonal skill to build bulletproof vendor partnerships, we want you to lead our procurement activities.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Contract Governance
Sourcing Architecture: Develop and implement procurement strategies that prioritize high-tier supplier selection and long-term cost optimization.
Negotiation Leadership: Identify potential suppliers and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing, quality standards, and delivery terms.
Contract Stewardship: Monitor supplier performance against contractual agreements, ensuring that all vendors adhere to strict quality and compliance benchmarks.
2. Supply Chain Integration & Demand Forecasting
Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with Production, Finance, and Operations to ensure that procurement activities are perfectly synchronized with the organization’s real-time needs.
Inventory Intelligence: Monitor stock levels and utilize demand forecasting to ensure adequate inventory while minimizing waste and carrying costs.
Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of all procurement transactions, ensuring that vendor information and contracts are always audit-ready.
3. Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of market fluctuations, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform agile procurement decisions.
Process Engineering: Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and structural process improvements within the supply chain function.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
Software Mastery: Proficiency in Procurement/ERP software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel is a plus).
