Job Description:

Consultancy Ablaze is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Procurement Officer to serve as the strategic link between our operational needs and our supply chain. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality goods and services at the best possible value, ensuring that our projects remain cost-effective and our vendors remain reliable partners. If you have a knack for negotiation and a disciplined approach to documentation, this is a key role where your work will directly impact our bottom line.

Requirements:

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and vet potential suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet our quality and reliability standards.

• Purchasing & Documentation: Prepare accurate purchase orders, manage procurement documentation, and ensure all records are audit-ready.

• Negotiation: Act as a skilled negotiator to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and high-quality service agreements.

• Inventory Monitoring: Maintain a proactive watch over inventory levels and procurement requirements to ensure we never experience operational downtime.

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong, transparent, and professional relationships with our supplier network.

• Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee the timely delivery of goods and services, ensuring all logistics align with project timelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience: Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is an added advantage.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel for data tracking and Word for documentation).
