Job Description:

As the Procurement Manager, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of minerals, essential equipment, spare parts, diesel, and vital operational materials. This role is perfect for a leader who excels in cost optimization, supplier relationship management, and driving process improvements to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and operational needs.

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with top-tier suppliers and contractors, ensuring quality, reliability, and contract compliance.

  • Operational Excellence: Guarantee the seamless delivery of materials to maintain uninterrupted business operations and optimize inventory levels.

  • Cost Leadership: Monitor expenditures, implement robust cost-saving initiatives, and manage budgets effectively.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, including market fluctuations and potential disruptions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, and Legal departments to streamline procurement execution.

  • Leadership: Guide and supervise procurement personnel to hit departmental KPIs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or professional certification is a strong advantage).

  • Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Industry Advantage: Experience in mining, manufacturing, or processing industries is highly preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Expertise in strategic sourcing and contract management.

    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement management software.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
