Job Description:

  • The Policy & Compensation Adviser is a core member of the HR Policy, Remuneration and Services Team.
  • The role will collaborate with the HR function, relevant HR leadership, and the organization’s management on global and local policies, compensation, and benefits.
  • The role is a key delivery engine that drives the operating model around people, structure, systems, and processes, and delivers the EVP agenda of the company to make it a great place to work.
  • The role also supports business planning and engagement activities.
  • The Policy & Compensation Adviser plays a crucial role in enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement, which directly impacts organizational success.
  • This role helps foster a positive work environment and supports the Renaissance Talent Management strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Local policy development, working as a specialist in a specific or range of policy areas: Policies aligned with business objectives and regulatory compliance
  • Support the design and management of remuneration and reward structures: Competitive pay practices that attract and retain talent
  • Participate in market benchmarking and salary surveys: Data-driven decisions for salary reviews and benefits administration
  • Policy communication and engagement: Enhanced employee experience and retention
  • Communicate compensation and benefits policies to employees, providing guidance and addressing inquiries related to compensation and benefits
  • Manage statutory payments and compliance: Timely remittance and zero compliance breaches
  • Support payroll and HR service operations: Accurate, timely payroll and efficient HR service delivery
  • Support HR service delivery: Timely resolution of queries and improved employee satisfaction
  • Ensure SLA compliance for HR services: Consistent service standards and operational efficiency
  • Monitor and report HR metrics: Data-driven improvements and accountability
  • Support and enable HR Business Partners: Consistent policy application and effective HR delivery across the company

Job Dimension

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 10 years’ HR experience, with exposure to multinational environments
  • Certification in Total Rewards or CCP is preferred
  • Chartered Member of CIPM, CIPD, or any equivalent professional institute
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policy development, compensation & benefits, and HRIMS (SuccessFactors is an advantage)

The Successful Candidate Should Have:

  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyse market data and assess pay data to develop equitable compensation policies
  • Strong understanding of HR digitalization, data analytics, and process improvement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Experience in compliance management and regulatory reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills: Capable of addressing pay equity issues and resolving benefit-related queries with sound judgment

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting project-based, upstream, or offshore operations
  • Knowledge of local content or expatriate workforce management
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent)
