Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Painter to join our facilities team in Victoria Island. You will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of our properties through high-quality surface preparation and expert painting techniques. Requirements:

• Surface Preparation: Inspect and assess surfaces, effectively removing mold and stains, and performing necessary repairs, filling, and sanding to ensure a smooth, durable foundation.

• Expert Application: Execute interior and exterior painting, including façade applications. Apply primers, sealers, putty, and specialized coatings to walls, wood, metal, doors, windows, and ceilings with high precision.

• Technical Finishing: Perform specialized tasks including POP works, screeding, and gloss applications to achieve a professional, long-lasting finish.

• Site Protection & Safety: Ensure surrounding areas, furniture, and fixtures are fully protected using professional-grade covering materials. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards while working on ladders and scaffolding.

• Professional Standards: Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and strong teamwork while managing assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certification: Hold at least an HND/OND qualification or a recognized Trade Test certification.

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in painting and surface preparation (5–8 years preferred).

• Technical Versatility: Comprehensive knowledge of mixing and applying various paint types, including Oil, Emulsion, Enamel, Bituminous, Aluminium, Anti-Corrosive, Synthetic Rubber, and Cement paints.

• Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
