Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically rigorous Operations Pharmacist to anchor our pharmaceutical warehouse operations in Ibadan. In the high-stakes world of healthcare logistics, success is defined by "Product Integrity Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize rapid order fulfillment with uncompromising regulatory compliance (PCN, NAFDAC, GDP). This role is designed for a "Clinical Logistics Architect" with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Pharmacological Expertise" with the "Operational Grit" required to manage cold-chain logistics, controlled substances, and complex inventory reconciliations.

Requirements:

1. Regulatory Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Compliance Stewardship: Ensure 100% adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and professional standards as mandated by PCN and NAFDAC.

  • Product Approval: Act as the final authority for approving inbound and outbound pharmaceutical products, ensuring batch tracking and expiry dates are meticulously documented.

  • Cold-Chain Integrity: Supervise the high-fidelity storage and handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled products, preventing thermal excursions or security breaches.

2. Inventory Orchestration & Logistics Flow

  • Stock Sovereignty: Manage the end-to-end warehouse lifecycle, including receiving, clinical picking/packing, and dispatch, utilizing modern inventory management systems.

  • Accuracy Governance: Lead regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations, maintaining a "Source of Truth" database for all medicinal inventory.

  • Recall & Risk Management: Lead investigations into stock discrepancies, damages, or product recalls, implementing rapid-response corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Synergy

  • Process Engineering: Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance warehouse velocity and safety.

  • Performance Mentorship: Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of precision and safety-consciousness.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Synchronize with Procurement, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and regional market availability.

  • KPI Stewardship: Monitor warehouse performance metrics and prepare high-fidelity operational reports for executive review.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: B.Pharm or PharmD from a recognized institution.

  • License: Currently registered and licensed with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

  • Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations, distribution, or healthcare supply chain.

  • Location: Readiness to operate in Ibadan and support extended operational hours as required.
