Job Description:

This is a full-time position for a Medical Officer at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center in Ilesa, Osun State.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, interpreting medical tests, and referring patients to specialists when required.
The Medical Officer will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, contributing to a team-oriented approach to quality care.

Requirements:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment

• Proven experience in delivering primary care, urgent care, and preventive healthcare services

• Background in emergency medicine, ultrasound, and surgery is an added advantage

• Strong work ethic with a dedication to patient care and safety

• Openness to continuous learning and staying updated on medical advancements and technologies

• Proficiency in IT tools, including desktop publishing, email, cloud storage, and virtual meeting platforms

• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth systems

Qualifications and Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Registration certificate and valid annual medical license issued by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• At least 2 years work experience post NYSC
• Any other relevant qualification is an asset
