Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy Brand Marketing Manager to serve as the chief architect of our brand’s narrative in the Nigerian market. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role; it is a position for a cultural insider who understands the pulse of Lagos, the trends of TikTok, and the power of localized storytelling.
Your primary mission is to build an indomitable brand presence by leveraging the most influential voices in Nigeria. You will lead our Influencer Marketing engine—identifying the right creators, negotiating strategic partnerships, and designing campaigns that don't just "get likes" but drive measurable business growth. If you are a data-driven creative with an existing network of local influencers and a deep love for Nigerian consumer culture, we want you to lead our strategy.
Requirements:
1. Influencer Ecosystem & Talent Management
End-to-End Campaign Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of influencer partnerships, from initial vetting and contract negotiation to content approval and relationship management.
Agency & MCN Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) and creative agencies to ensure all talent output is consistent with brand DNA.
Compliance & Transparency: Ensure all partnerships adhere to disclosure regulations (e.g., #ad) while maintaining authentic audience engagement.
2. Localized Content & Brand Strategy
Cultural Narratives: Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans that resonate across Nigeria’s diverse demographic landscape (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, etc.).
Omnichannel Execution: Oversee the production of localized video, graphics, and copy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring the content is "native" to each platform.
Trend Mining: Conduct continuous market research to stay ahead of competitor moves and rapidly evolving Nigerian social media subcultures.
3. Data-Driven Growth & Collaboration
Full-Funnel Integration: Collaborate with Sales and E-commerce teams to ensure influencer-led traffic converts into tangible revenue.
Performance Analytics: Use advanced data tools to monitor ROI, engagement rates, and conversion metrics, pivoting strategies in real-time based on what the data reveals.
Budget Stewardship: Manage marketing spend with surgical precision, ensuring high-impact resource allocation for maximum return.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in brand/digital marketing, with at least 2 years dedicated specifically to the Nigerian influencer market.
Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to speak local languages (Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo) is a massive strategic advantage.
Core Competencies
Network: An existing, high-value network of local influencers and talent managers.
Creative Logic: The ability to marry "big idea" creative thinking with a rigorous, data-driven approach to decision-making.
