Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, highly resilient, and results-driven Marketer to join our team in Yaba, Lagos. In this role, you will lead customer acquisition, execute strategic sales, and expand our market reach by onboarding high-volume bulk buyers and distributors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent persuasion and negotiation skills, a deep customer-focused mindset, and the confidence to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
Customer Acquisition & Lead Generation: Identify and approach potential individual, retail, wholesale, and corporate clients. Generate high-quality leads through cold calls, field visits, networking, and referrals.
B2B & Bulk Buyer Onboarding: Actively target and secure bulk buyers, including supermarkets, hotels, event planners, and schools. Onboard and manage key distributors or resellers to scale volume.
Sales Execution: Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets. Drive the sales pipeline by negotiating competitive prices and terms, and closing deals efficiently.
Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business. Promptly and professionally resolve customer issues or complaints.
Market Development & Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, pricing models, and industry trends. Provide strategic feedback to management to help improve product positioning and pricing strategies.
Reporting & Data Tracking: Maintain detailed, accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions using basic digital tools (CRM, spreadsheets, and mobile apps). Submit comprehensive daily and weekly sales reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Communication: Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
Negotiation & Confidence: Proven ability to handle objections, negotiate deals, and securely close transactions.
Drive & Resilience: Highly self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Digital Literacy: Basic digital skills, including experience with CRM software, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and mobile applications.
Local Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Lagos market, particularly wholesale and retail networks, is a major advantage.
Salary
