Job Description:
- As Manager of an Equipment Repair Centre within our Plant & Equipment Department (PED), you will play a key role in an innovative and dynamic company.
- You will be responsible for multiple workshops at one of our major locations, lead and develop a dedicated team, optimize operational processes, and ensure that our machines are consistently maintained in top technical condition - leveraging your technical expertise and passion for machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Coordination: You will manage a motivated team of 50–300 employee, Workshop Supervisors as well as technical staff across multiple workshops
- Technical Expertise: You will oversee maintenance, repair, and inspection activities across a broad range of plant, construction, and support equipment, ensuring consistent technical standards and high-quality execution throughout workshop operations.
- Process Optimization: You will develop and implement efficient workflows to enhance workshop performance
- Customer Liaison: You will coordinate with customers, field service, and your team to deliver quick and accurate solutions
- Safety & Quality Management: You will ensure the highest safety standards and maintain the quality of machines at all times
Requirements:
What skills must you have?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or similar; Master’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Management is a plus
- 5 – 10 years experience in heavy equipment, plant, or vehicle maintenance, including preventive and corrective work
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Proven ability to manage technical, operational, and financial responsibilities in complex fleet or construction environments
- Clear, confident communication skills with both teams and customers
- A safety-, quality-, and results-driven mindset
- English proficiency (B2/C1).
