Job Description:

• Skilled Edge Banding Machine Operator needed to run the Biesse Jade 340 automatic single-sided edgebander in a woodworking / furniture production environment. Focus on high-quality edge applications and efficient machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate the Biesse Jade 340 for PVC, ABS, veneer, and solid wood edge banding.
• Manage key units: pre-milling, gluing, end-trimming, trimming, corner rounding, scraping, and buffing.
• Handle different panel/edge thicknesses, monitor glue quality, and perform real-time adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, blade changes, and basic troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished panels for quality and follow production schedules to minimise waste.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• 4–7 years hands-on experience with the Biesse Jade 340 or similar Biesse edgebanders.
• Good knowledge of edge banding materials and machine functions.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use machine controls.
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and physical fitness for workshop work.
