Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement and Operations Intern to support the MSH Nigeria Procurement unit. Reporting directly to the Procurement and Operations Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our procurement processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with organizational standards. This position is perfect for a purpose-driven individual looking to gain hands-on experience in high-level procurement operations, database management, and corporate reporting within a dynamic international organization.

Requirements:

• Vendor Management: Assist in building and maintaining a robust, up-to-date Vendor Database for MSH Nigeria.

• Reporting & Data Analysis: Support the preparation of monthly procurement reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct preliminary reviews of procurement packages to identify discrepancies, ensuring accuracy before final approval.

• Documentation & Compliance: Manage the organization’s SharePoint filing structure, ensuring strict adherence to conventions and proper documentation of procurement dossiers.

• Tracker Management: Maintain and update the Procurement Tracker to ensure real-time visibility into ongoing activities.

• Operational Support: Provide administrative and clerical support to the procurement unit to ensure the successful execution of its daily mandate.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related Social Science discipline.

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in operations and procurement, preferably with local or international organizations in Nigeria.
