Job Description:

The Magento Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Magento eCommerce platforms. This includes seamless integration of third-party services and payment gateways, performance optimization, secure coding compliance, and collaborating within Agile teams to support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

• Development & Customization: Develop, customize, and maintain Magento applications, custom modules, and digital commerce solutions.

• Integrations: Integrate essential APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services while ensuring the secure handling of sensitive customer and transaction data.

• Performance & Support: Optimize platform scalability, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot application defects, resolve technical issues, and perform root-cause analysis.

• Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with UI/UX designers, QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders under Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Deployment & Governance: Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, and post-release validation. Adhere strictly to platform governance, secure coding standards, and compliance frameworks.

• Documentation: Consistently maintain high-quality technical documentation, release notes, implementation guides, and operational artifacts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline. (A postgraduate degree or professional certifications are a plus).

• NYSC: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 to 15+ years of relevant professional experience (categorized by Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant levels).

  • Proven track record working within enterprise-scale digital, IT, or eCommerce environments.

  • Deep understanding of the SDLC and Agile frameworks.
