Job Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Graduate Trainee to join our team in Apapa, Lagos. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for a recent graduate who is passionate about technology and interested in building a career in IT.
• The successful candidate will receive practical exposure to IT operations, technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, networking, cybersecurity, and general IT administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the IT team with day-to-day technical support and IT operations.
• Provide basic support to employees experiencing hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support troubleshooting of network, internet, Wi-Fi, and system-related issues.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, software installation, and system configuration.
• Help maintain records of IT assets, equipment, software, and licenses.
• Assist with routine system updates, antivirus checks, backups, and other IT maintenance activities.
• Support the IT team in monitoring and maintaining network and IT infrastructure.
• Assist with IT security and cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures.
• Liaise with senior IT staff and vendors when required.
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and IT best practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by the IT Manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer  Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Recent graduate with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• NYSC completion or exemption is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Strong interest in IT and technology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and computer maintenance.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or IT support tools is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, or similar certifications will be an advantage.
