Job Description:

We are seeking a technically-grounded Machine Operator to join our production team in the Sango Ota industrial hub. This role is specifically designed for an OND Engineering graduate who views machinery not just as a tool, but as a system requiring precision, care, and constant optimization.

Your mission is to ensure that our factory production remains uninterrupted. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of production machinery, balancing high-speed output with a rigorous preventive maintenance mindset. If you have the diagnostic skills to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and the discipline to maintain meticulous operational logs, we want you to power our production line.

Requirements:

1. Precision Machine Operation

  • SOP Adherence: Execute production cycles strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and process efficiency.

  • Continuous Monitoring: Provide constant supervision of machine performance, identifying "audible or visual" anomalies before they lead to system failure.

  • Resource Management: Accurately document material consumption and minimize wastage through precise machine calibration.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Maintenance Engineering: Develop and implement a structured preventive maintenance schedule to maximize machinery lifespan and prevent costly breakdowns.

  • Rapid Diagnostics: Perform "First-Line" repairs on minor mechanical faults to minimize downtime and maintain a continuous production flow.

  • Equipment Integrity: Conduct routine checks on mechanical components (bearings, belts, motors) to ensure the system operates at peak capacity.

3. Documentation & Data Integrity

  • Performance Logs: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to facilitate data-driven troubleshooting.

  • Production Reporting: Document daily production metrics and technical issues, providing supervisors with clear insights into machine health and operational bottlenecks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education (Strict Requirement): OND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics). Please note: Only OND candidates will be considered.

  • Experience: 1 – 3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Technical Skill: Basic proficiency in mechanical diagnostics and the use of hand tools for minor repairs.
