We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Logistics Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities in a courier logistics environment, with a focus on interstate operations.
• This includes managing the receiving, sorting, scanning, staging, and dispatching of parcels; supervising warehouse staff; ensuring adherence to operational, safety, and security protocols; and maintaining accuracy in parcel tracking and documentation.
• The role is vital to ensuring fast, safe, and accurate handling of consignments moving across state lines and within the company’s distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound and outbound parcel processing.
• Oversee the receiving, offloading, scanning, sorting, and staging of parcels for interstate dispatch.
• Monitor warehouse workflow to ensure parcels are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with linehaul drivers and interstate dispatch teams to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
• Ensure all parcels are properly scanned and recorded in the tracking system at every stage.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of parcel movement, inventory of logistics supplies, and warehouse reports.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and security protocols.
• Conduct regular checks and spot audits to ensure accuracy of sorting, labeling, and parcel handling.
• Supervise and coach warehouse operatives to meet performance and productivity targets.
• Report daily operations status, incidents, or delays to the Logistics Operations Manager.
• Support in handling customer escalations or delivery exceptions related to warehousing errors.

Requirements:

• HND / BSc Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics supervision, preferably within a courier or transport company.
• Strong understanding of courier operations, especially interstate logistics within Nigeria.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), parcel tracking tools, and scanning devices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate activities across multiple shifts.
• Knowledge of Nigerian logistics routes and state-to-state delivery dynamics is an added advantage
