Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resilient Logistics Officer to manage our supply chain and operational distribution efforts in Adamawa and Borno states. You will be responsible for the efficient movement of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that our operations meet tight delivery schedules in these critical regions. If you are a logistics professional with a strong understanding of regional supply chain management and the ability to operate effectively under demanding conditions, we invite you to take on this essential role.

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain Oversight: Coordinate the end-to-end logistics process, including procurement, storage, and the distribution of goods across Adamawa and Borno.

  • Fleet & Route Management: Plan and monitor transportation routes to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of supplies.

  • Inventory Control: Maintain rigorous tracking of inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately accounted for at all times to prevent shortages or discrepancies.

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers, and local partners to ensure consistent operational support.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise records of all logistical movements, including waybills, delivery reports, and inventory logs.

  • Operational Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities adhere to internal company policies, health and safety regulations, and local operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Relevant academic qualification (e.g., B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field).

  • Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.

  • Regional Knowledge: A strong understanding of the logistical terrain and operational environment in Adamawa and Borno states is highly preferred.
