Job Description:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics operations including inventory control, warehousing, order fulfillment, dispatch, and supply chain optimization.

You will ensure timely delivery of high-value hair products to customers while maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including product movement from suppliers to warehouse, and from warehouse to customers or retail points.
• Supervise daily activities of storekeepers, dispatch riders, and delivery personnel.
• Monitor inventory levels; ensure accurate stock records and prompt stock replenishment.
• Implement effective logistics strategies for packaging, warehousing, transportation, and customer delivery.
• Ensure timely and error-free order fulfillment for both retail and wholesale clients.
• Track deliveries, resolve delays, and manage returns or customer complaints related to logistics.
• Liaise with vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics partners to negotiate contracts and rates.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for logistics operations and inventory audits.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics KPIs, stock levels, losses, and operational challenges.
• Recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in the luxury beauty, cosmetics, or fashion industry.
• Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management platforms.
• Ability to lead and train junior staff.

Additional Requirement: 

• Applicants must reside in or around Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
• Proximity to the job location is a key requirement due to the nature of the role.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management (preferably in the retail or beauty industry).
• Strong understanding of inventory control and order fulfillment systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory software, and logistics tracking tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
