Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically sharp Logistics Analyst to anchor our operations in Ikoyi, Lagos. In a fast-paced commercial environment, success is defined by "Fulfillment Efficiency", the ability to harmonize complex inbound/outbound cycles with cost-saving negotiation strategies. This role is designed for a "Process Architect" with up to 2 years of experience who can blend "Freight Forwarding Expertise" with the "Business Development Grit" required to secure public sector deals.

Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Delivery Precision and Market Expansion." You will be a vital engine for the organization: responsible for tracking key functional metrics, managing vendor registrations, and building strategic client relationships. If you possess "Advanced Excel Skills," a typing speed of 60wpm, and the ability to negotiate with global forwarders, we want you to drive our logistics sovereignty.

Requirements:

1. Logistics Sovereignty & Metric Intelligence

  • Inbound/Outbound Governance: Manage the end-to-end delivery cycle, ensuring every shipment reaches the client on time and with 100% documentation accuracy.

  • Cost Engineering: Negotiate competitive rates with freight forwarders and track functional metrics to identify expense-reduction opportunities.

  • System Optimization: Proactively suggest and implement updates to inventory and logistics systems to improve overall organizational effectiveness.

  • Document Mastery: Manage the procurement of all required certificates and shipping documents, ensuring zero delays at transit points.

2. Public Sector Sales & Relationship Architecture

  • Business Development: Identify and propose high-value business deals, specifically focusing on building long-term relationships within the public sector.

  • Sales Performance Analytics: Oversee weekly and quarterly assessments, generating high-fidelity reports that track progress toward annual sales goals.

  • Client Diplomacy: Serve as a responsive point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met with professional excellence and speed.

3. Administrative & Vendor Compliance

  • Vendor Registration: Lead the administrative process for registering the company with new partners, ensuring all legal and professional documentation is current and compliant.

  • Stakeholder Synergy: Build and sustain partnerships with relevant logistics firms to expand the company's operational reach.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Supply Chain, Economics, or Business preferred).

  • Experience: Up to 2 years of relevant experience specifically within a logistics or freight forwarding company.

  • Process Knowledge: A deep understanding of the end-to-end Procurement and Logistics workflow.

Technical & Core Competencies

  • Software Mastery: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel (for data analysis), PowerPoint (for presentations), and Outlook.

  • Speed & Accuracy: Professional typing speed of 60wpm.

  • Communication Grit: Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
