Job Description:
We are an innovative financial services provider dedicated to empowering salary earners with accessible and timely credit solutions. We are seeking energetic Sales & Loan Growth Officers across multiple regions to act as the face of our institution. This is a high-impact role where you will be more than just a salesperson; you will be a financial advisor helping qualified individuals navigate their credit needs. Candidate Locations: Lagos, Abeokuta, Ijebu Ode, Ibadan, Ilorin, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Requirements:
1. Market Penetration & Lead Generation
Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage "suitable prospects" within corporate and public sectors who qualify for salary-backed loan facilities.
Product Advocacy: Market our diverse loan products, articulating the unique value propositions (interest rates, speed, and flexibility) to potential clients.
Needs Assessment: Consult with applicants to explore all financial options, ensuring the loan product matches their specific lifecycle needs.
2. Credit Evaluation & Interviewing
Eligibility Screening: Conduct thorough interviews with applicants to determine their financial eligibility, employment stability, and feasibility of repayment.
Risk Awareness: Maintain a solid understanding of direct/indirect lending practices to ensure only high-quality applications are moved forward.
Policy Counseling: Clearly communicate loan policies, restrictions, and repayment terms to clients, ensuring they are fully informed before signing contracts.
3. Relationship Management & Targets
Client Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the customer and our credit committee, ensuring a smooth flow of information and a fast turnaround time.
Goal Alignment: Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales and disbursement targets within a high-performance environment.
Service Excellence: Drive customer satisfaction by managing the loan lifecycle professionally, from initial inquiry to final disbursement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Academic & Professional Foundation
Education: Minimum of an OND or BSc in any discipline.
Experience: While a "Little Experience" as a Loan Officer is preferred, it is not compulsory. We value hunger and potential over long resumes.
Sector Knowledge: A basic understanding of lending products and the Nigerian financial landscape.
Core Competencies
Sales Prowess: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
Resilience: The ability to work in a target-driven, goal-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Integrity: Strong ethical standards when evaluating applicant information and managing contracts.
