Overview
- The Lead Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with organizational goals. This role provides strategic leadership to operational teams, coordinates resources across departments, and implements processes that enhance workflow, quality, and performance.
- The Lead Operations Manager acts as a bridge between management and operational staff, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, resources are effectively utilized, and operational challenges are proactively addressed. This role is critical to supporting business growth, improving processes, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, resources are optimized, and quality standards are maintained. The individual will act as a bridge between management and operational teams, driving performance, solving challenges, and supporting Geoinfotech’s growth across drones, GIS & remote sensing, land surveying, IT services, and web development.
Job Purpose
- The purpose of the Lead Operations Manager role is to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations across Geoinfotech’s projects and services, including drones, GIS & remote sensing, land surveying, IT services, and web development. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, coordinating teams, and implementing strategies that support business growth and operational excellence. By providing strong leadership and operational oversight, the Lead Operations Manager helps the company deliver high-quality services on time, maximize resource efficiency, and maintain client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across all GeoInfoTech services: drones, GIS & remote sensing, land surveying, IT services, and web development
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality
- Coordinate and supervise teams, ensuring tasks are executed effectively and deadlines are met
- Monitor and optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, business development, IT, and project teams) to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery
- Analyze operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and risk management for operational initiatives
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization and automation
- Serve as a key point of contact for operational issues, escalations, and decision-making
- Support strategic business goals by aligning operational activities with company objectives
Requirements:
- Qualifications – Lead Operations Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, MBA) is an added advantage
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and operational efficiency
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring
- Proficiency with operational software, ERP systems, and reporting tools
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Experience in technology-driven industries such as GIS, drones, IT services, web development, or surveying is an advantage
- Ability to work across multiple locations and coordinate cross-functional teams
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in operations management.
