Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and high-energy Customer Service Intern currently serving in the NYSC program to join our team in Lagos. This role is perfect for a Corps member who is passionate about people, problem-solving, and building a career in client relations. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for turning inquiries into sales leads and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression of our brand.
The ideal candidate is a patient listener, a clear communicator, and someone who thrives on going the "extra mile" to resolve challenges and hit performance targets.
Requirements:
Client Interaction & Relationship Building
Call Management: Efficiently handle a high volume of incoming phone calls, ensuring professional and courteous service at all times.
Needs Assessment: Identify and assess customer needs quickly to provide solutions that drive satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Trust Building: Establish sustainable relationships with customer accounts through open, transparent, and interactive communication.
Sales & Service Excellence
Lead Generation: Actively identify opportunities to generate sales leads and contribute to the company's growth during customer interactions.
Target Achievement: Strive to meet personal and team-based sales targets and call-handling quotas.
Information Management: Use the right tools and methods to provide customers with accurate, valid, and comprehensive information.
Problem Resolution & Documentation
Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within specified time limits; follow up consistently to ensure total resolution.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions, process account updates, and ensure all documents are filed correctly.
Process Compliance: Strictly follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current Status: Must be a currently serving NYSC Corps member looking for a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) in Lagos.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to empathize with customers.
Mindset:
A "customer-first" attitude with a passion for engagement.
A competitive spirit focused on meeting sales and service targets.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting cases.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and use customer service software and internal databases quickly.
Salary
