Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and solution-oriented IT Support Assistant to anchor the digital frontlines at our Alakija facility. In a modern corporate environment, success is defined by "Uptime Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize rapid-response technical troubleshooting with the clinical precision required to manage hardware lifecycles and network security. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" who can blend "Hardware Grit" (laptop and printer maintenance) with the "System Agility" required to manage VPNs, email configurations, and user account security.
Requirements:
1. Technical Success & Problem Orchestration
Rapid-Response Support: Act as the first line of defense for all software, hardware, and network inquiries, resolving issues via walk-ins, email, or remote diagnostic tools.
Connectivity Governance: Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems involving VPNs, email systems, and office peripherals (printers, scanners) to ensure zero-delay in employee productivity.
Issue Diagnosis: Utilize clinical troubleshooting methods to identify root causes of system failures and implement long-term fixes rather than temporary patches.
2. Infrastructure Setup & Security Stewardship
Workstation Architecture: Install, configure, and update workstations, ensuring every employee has a high-fidelity operating system and application environment.
Security Vigilance: Monitor systems for anomalies, applying security patches and antivirus updates with millimetric precision to protect the company’s digital assets.
Account Sovereignty: Manage the full lifecycle of user accounts, configuring permissions and security settings to ensure data access follows the principle of "least privilege."
3. Asset Management & Technical Documentation
Inventory Governance: Maintain a meticulous, up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment and hardware, ensuring the facility is always audit-ready.
Infrastructure Support: Assist in the physical organization and maintenance of the Server Room and network cabling, ensuring structural integrity and cooling efficiency.
Knowledge Architecture: Create and maintain high-quality technical guides, FAQs, and documentation that empower employees to solve basic IT hurdles independently.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Experience: Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role, demonstrating a track record of resolving complex hardware and network issues.
Location: Must be able to work Full-Time Onsite in Alakija, Lagos.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: Proficiency in Windows/MacOS, VPN configuration, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
Communication Power: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear instructions for non-technical staff.
