Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategically minded IT Supervisor to lead our technological operations in Ikeja. In a data-driven business landscape, success is defined by "System Resilience", the ability to maintain 100% uptime through rigorous hardware, software, and network orchestration. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" with 5–10 years of experience who can blend "Infrastructure Grit" (server and cloud monitoring) with the "Cybersecurity Oversight" required to protect organizational assets and manage complex vendor relationships.
Your mission is to ensure "Seamless Operational Continuity and Technological Evolution." You will be the primary steward of our digital ecosystem: responsible for managing the company website, overseeing network security, and leading the IT support framework. If you possess "Problem-Solving Mastery," a deep understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, and the leadership ability to train users and manage IT budgets, we want you to drive our technological excellence.
Requirements:
1. Infrastructure & Network Orchestration
Systems Stewardship: Supervise the end-to-end installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and server environments to ensure peak performance.
Network Governance: Monitor network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, IP Addressing) and server performance, acting as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.
Cloud & Database Oversight: Monitor cloud systems and databases, ensuring that all backups, updates, patches, and system upgrades are executed with zero disruption.
2. Cybersecurity & Data Integrity
Security Resilience: Monitor cybersecurity risks and incidents, implementing robust network security measures to minimize downtime and prevent unauthorized access.
Access Control: Manage user permissions and password protocols, ensuring that data protection policies are strictly enforced across all departments.
Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT manuals, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Operational Management & Vendor Diplomacy
Service Level Excellence: Oversee the IT ticketing system, ensuring fast resolution of staff complaints and providing comprehensive training on organizational tools.
Asset & Budget Governance: Assist in IT budget development, monitoring expenditures, and managing the inventory of all technological assets.
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring that third-party systems and service contracts meet company standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar qualification.
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in IT systems and network supervision.
Certifications: Recognized IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA N+, MCSA, or ITIL) are highly preferred.
Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of Network Infrastructure, Server Management, Website Administration, and basic Cybersecurity.
Core Competencies
Analytical Grit: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
Leadership Prowess: Ability to act as a bridge between IT and other departments, articulating technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Resource Management: Proficiency in time management and the ability to multitask across various technical projects.
