Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite IT Officer to anchor the technological engine of PATH’s operations in Abuja and its associated field sites. In a specialized global health landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the data transfer and the precision of the network uptime success is defined by "Digital Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize local user support with the clinical precision required for Network Administration, Cloud Infrastructure Management (Office 365/SharePoint), and Server Integrity. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" specifically a professional with at least 3 years of experience who can blend "Hardware Grit" (maintaining PCs, UPS systems, and printing equipment) with the "Analytical Agility" required to execute Mobile Technology Integration and VPN Diagnostics.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Support Governance
Sovereignty of the User: Handle staff IT requests and support HQ engineers with network troubleshooting, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Uptime."
Solution Architecture: Conduct one-on-one and small group training on Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint, providing the "Structural Foundation" for digital solution adoption.
Integrity Stewardship: Ensure data backups are reliable and secure, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Continuity" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Network Logic
Infrastructure Sovereignty: Maintain staff PCs, printers, and servers while managing wired/wireless LANs, acting as the primary "Source of Hardware Reliability."
Diagnostic Architecture: Use tools like traceroute, ping, and pathping to diagnose network issues, providing the "Functional Foundation" for seamless VPN and remote access.
Liaison Stewardship: Coordinate with ISPs to ensure uninterrupted internet availability, maintaining the "Source of Global Connectivity."
3. Operational Integrity & Maintenance Power
Preventive Sovereignty: Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance for all IT equipment, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Longevity."
Inventory Architecture: Maintain an up-to-date log of all on-site and off-site IT assets, providing the "Relational Foundation" for resource accountability.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 3+ years of Professional IT expertise to accelerate the "Issue-to-Resolution" cycle via the global helpdesk, maximizing the "Source of Technical Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience; proven expertise in Mobile Technology.
Technical Power: Mastery of Network Administration, Virtualization, and Cloud Infrastructure.
Certification: Microsoft (MCSE/Azure) or Cisco (CCNA) certifications are highly desirable.
Mobility: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to field programs.
