Job Description:

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive IT Officer to serve as the backbone of our digital operations. This is a 360-degree technical role designed for an expert who can seamlessly pivot between high-level network administration and hands-on helpdesk support.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero Downtime." In our fast-paced club environment, you will be responsible for everything from the stability of our POS (Point of Sale) systems to the security of our member data and the flawless execution of event technology. Requirements:

1. Network & System Stewardship

  • Infrastructure Reliability: Configure, monitor, and upgrade the club’s computer networks and servers to ensure 99.9% uptime for both back-office and member-facing services.

  • Hardware Lifecycle: Install, configure, and maintain essential hardware—including high-performance workstations, POS systems, printers, and peripheral devices.

  • Security Governance: Act as the first line of defense by implementing robust antivirus solutions, firewall protections, and strict access controls to safeguard sensitive data.

2. Technical Support & Hospitality Integration

  • "Helpdesk Excellence": Provide immediate hardware and software support for staff, guests, and members, ensuring that technical issues never interfere with the club experience.

  • Event Technology Lead: Take full ownership of AV equipment, high-density Wi-Fi, and specialized technical setups to ensure seamless execution of events and conferences.

  • User Lifecycle Management: Manage the secure creation, maintenance, and off-boarding of user accounts for staff and club members.

3. Vendor Relations & Maintenance

  • External Coordination: Serve as the primary technical contact for third-party vendors and ISPs, coordinating repairs and specialized maintenance when external expertise is required.

  • Software Optimization: Ensure all applications—from specialized club management software to basic office suites—are patched, updated, and running at peak performance.

  • Data Integrity: Manage routine backups and data recovery protocols to ensure business continuity in the event of hardware failure.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in Network Administration, POS System Support, or a generalist IT role (experience in hospitality or private clubs is a significant advantage).

  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Associate) are highly preferred.

Core Competencies

  • Diagnostic Mastery: Ability to quickly identify and resolve complex hardware and software conflicts.

  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Practical knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security.

  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical members and staff with patience and clarity.

Salary

₦300,000 - ₦350,000/month
