Job Description:

Are you a visionary designer passionate about building seamless digital products? We are seeking an exceptional UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centric, and visually engaging digital experiences across enterprise-scale technology platforms.

Depending on your depth of expertise, this role is open at the Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant level. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into elegant design solutions, maintaining robust design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable user experiences that align perfectly with business objectives and governance standards.

Requirements:

• User-Centric Product Design: Design intuitive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) tailored to diverse user personas and business workflows.

• Design Artifact Creation: Develop high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, comprehensive user flows, and clear UI specification documents.

• Agile Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure design integrity during development.

• Governance & Standards: Maintain and contribute to enterprise design systems, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines, responsive design principles, and design governance standards.

• Accessibility & Security: Ensure all digital interfaces comply with international web accessibility standards (WCAG) and integrate secure design considerations.

• Documentation & Handover: Establish and maintain rigorous documentation and clear handover processes to ensure developers can seamlessly implement design deliverables.

• Multi-Project Management: Simultaneously support multiple digital initiatives, adapting quickly to changing priorities, new platforms, and evolving technical requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Engineering, Information Systems, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, Business, or a related discipline. (A postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an added advantage).

• NYSC: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 to 15+ years of relevant professional experience in digital product design (tailored to role seniority level: Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).

  • Demonstrated track record working within enterprise-scale digital, IT, or product technology environments.

• Methodology: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).

• Core Design Skills: Mastery of foundational UX/UI principles, usability testing standards, information architecture, and responsive/mobile-first design.

• Tool Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of modern UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and advanced enterprise design systems.

• Tech-Stack Awareness: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript components) to facilitate smoother collaboration with engineering teams.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to articulate and defend design decisions effectively to business leaders.

• Adaptability: Proven ability to work under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and quickly onboard into new technical or business domains.
