Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Indian Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships in Nigeria.
- The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in structured markets to drive business growth, optimize account performance, and deliver excellent customer service within the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts across Nigeria
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key clients
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives
- Monitor client performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless execution
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with key clients
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management
- Support market expansion initiatives and identify new key accounts
- Experience working with multinational companies or in cross-border roles is an added advantage
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving market like Nigeria
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 4 – 6 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
- Proven track record of managing large/key accounts, preferably in telecom, FMCG, electronics, or related industries
- Experience working in emerging markets or willingness to adapt to the Nigerian business environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of commercial and business acumen
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to relocate and travel within Nigeria
