Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and legally elite Human Resources & Legal Officer to anchor the governance engine of our Wuse operations. In the specialized landscape of corporate Abuja where organizational stability depends on the intersection of talent management and statutory adherence success is defined by "Human Capital Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize HR operations with the clinical precision required for Contract Drafting, Dispute Resolution, and Regulatory Vetting. This role is designed for a "Legal Architect" with 3–5 years of post-call experience who can blend "Fiduciary Grit" (managing disciplinary proceedings and NDAs) with the "Strategic Agility" required to engineer compliant recruitment and payroll workflows.
Requirements:
1. Legal Orchestration & Compliance Governance
Contract Sovereignty: Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, NDAs, and service agreements with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Legal Protection."
Regulatory Architecture: Ensure all HR processes and documentation comply with Nigerian labour laws and standards, providing the "Structural Foundation" for corporate safety.
Risk Stewardship: Identify legal risks in HR operations and recommend preventive measures, ensuring the "Source of Operational Security" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Operations Logic
Relations Sovereignty: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and mediation in line with legal standards, acting as the primary "Source of Conflict Resolution."
Administrative Architecture: Maintain accurate employee files, leave records, and HR databases, providing the "Functional Foundation" for payroll and benefit administration.
Recruitment Stewardship: Oversee CV screening and interview scheduling while ensuring fair hiring practices, maintaining the "Source of Talent Integrity."
3. Operational Integrity & Reporting Power
Data Sovereignty: Maintain HR systems and legal records with absolute confidentiality, acting as the primary "Source of Information Security."
Performance Architecture: Coordinate appraisals and track documentation to ensure processes are compliant, providing the "Relational Foundation" for staff development.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 3–5 years of Post-Call expertise and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare weekly HR activity summaries, maximizing the "Source of Management Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution.
Qualification: Must be Called to the Nigerian Bar and qualified to practice law.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of post-call experience, with exposure to corporate or employment law.
Domain Power: Deep knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws, contract drafting, and HR best practices.
