Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Practice Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a prestigious law firm. Serving as the operational second-in-command to the Founding Partner, the successful candidate will drive firm-wide efficiency, financial health, and service excellence.

Requirements:

• Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day operations, including administration, IT infrastructure, facilities management, and regulatory compliance.

• Financial Management: Direct budgeting, billing, collections, financial reporting, and profitability tracking to ensure robust P&L performance.

• Talent Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, staff development, and engagement initiatives.

• Client Service Strategy: Champion excellence in client service, ensuring high standards are maintained and resolving escalated concerns efficiently.

• Growth & Business Development: Support strategic growth initiatives, firm branding, and event management.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for regulators, government agencies, institutional clients, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in law firm management, professional services, or senior operations leadership.

• Financial Expertise: Proven experience in independent P&L management and financial reporting.

• Leadership: Demonstrated success leading and mentoring teams of 15+ employees.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of legal practice management, billing, and document management systems.
