Job Description:
- We are a leading FMCG distribution company seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Officer to support our growing operations.
- The ideal candidate will manage recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Experience in the FMCG, logistics, or distribution environment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract top talent.
- Maintain Employee Records: Update and manage the HR database to ensure accurate employee information.
- Support Payroll Preparation: Provide relevant employee data to facilitate payroll processing.
- Implement HR Policies: Develop and monitor HR policies and procedures to align with company goals.
- Handle Employee Relations: Address disciplinary actions and conflict resolution to maintain a positive workplace.
- Monitor Attendance and Performance: Track staff attendance, leave management, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate Training Programs: Facilitate staff development and training initiatives to enhance employee skills.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to labor laws and company policies to mitigate risks.
- Support Performance Appraisals: Assist in the performance appraisal process to evaluate employee contributions.
- Prepare HR Reports: Generate necessary HR documentation and reports for management.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG distribution, logistics, or a similar sector.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices and Nigerian labor laws.
- Skills: Proficiency in recruitment and employee relations with excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.
