Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned, field-hardened HSE Supervisor to serve as the primary safety representative onboard a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit. This is a high-responsibility, frontline role where you will safeguard personnel and operations by ensuring absolute compliance during critical activities like crude oil export, marine logistics, and contractor operations. If you are a safety leader with extensive experience in challenging offshore and swamp environments, we want you to drive our safety culture and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Requirements:
FSO Operational Oversight: Provide daily supervision of HSE protocols across marine activities, crude storage, export operations, and offshore logistics.
Vessel & Cargo Management: Manage the complex HSE risks associated with vessel interface and high-stakes cargo transfer activities.
Contractor Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards for all third-party contractors operating onboard.
Emergency Readiness: Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, drills, and response planning to ensure the facility is ready for any scenario.
Incident Management: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents or near-misses, utilizing advanced root cause analysis tools to prevent recurrence.
Risk Leadership: Serve as the onsite safety authority, ensuring a culture of proactive hazard identification and mitigation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Marine Studies, or a related physical science discipline.
Professional Experience:
8–10 years of total HSE experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Minimum of 5 years in a field-based HSE supervisory role supporting production, drilling, well intervention, construction, or marine operations.
Technical Environment: Demonstrated, proven experience working in swamp, offshore, onshore, and marine environments.
