Job Description:

• Report to the HSE Manager or D&C Supervisor while leading site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) operations, ensuring effective risk control, emergency preparedness, and compliance across drilling, workover, and completion activities.
• Manage the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and site safety inductions; verify workforce competence through relevant certifications (IWCF/IADC, BOSIET, H₂S).
• Conduct daily HSE meetings, emergency drills (well control, man-overboard, fire, spill), and oversee SIMOPS interface coordination.
• Perform inspections on DROPS, lifting equipment, housekeeping, chemical handling, and confined spaces; track and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Lead incident management, including ICAM investigations, reporting, capturing lessons learned, and maintaining medical evacuation plans and clinic readiness.
• Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management hierarchy, spill prevention and response, effluent control, and keeping statutory registers updated.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH, ISPON, or equivalent professional HSE certification.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in rig-based HSE roles.
• Strong expertise in Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and SIMOPS coordination.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET certification.
• Valid H₂S certification.
