Job Description:
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across all operations. The role ensures compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and international best practices to promote a safe working environment in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with regulatory and company requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all levels of staff and contractors.
Ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation, industry standards, and international best practices.
Lead and participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and HSE meetings.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
Maintain up-to-date records of HSE statistics, reports, and documentation.
Provide training and awareness programs for employees on occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Liaise with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.

Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
