Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite HSE and Quality Control Manager to anchor the protection and excellence engine of our plant in Umungasi, Abia. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the hazard identification and the precision of the QA/QC workflow success is defined by "Systemic Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-risk gas operations with the clinical precision required for Quality Management Systems, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Readiness. This role is designed for a "Safety & Quality Architect" specifically a senior professional with 7 to 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas who can blend "Industrial Grit" (managing HAZID/HAZOP and permit-to-work systems) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Commissioning Phases and Root Cause Analysis.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Systems Governance
Sovereignty of the Systems: Develop and implement high-fidelity HSE and quality management systems, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Compliance."
Audit Architecture: Conduct rigorous safety audits and risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP), providing the "Structural Foundation" for hazard-free operations and maintenance.
Integrity Stewardship: Oversee QA/QC processes across the plant, ensuring the "Source of Product Excellence" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Risk Logic
Investigative Sovereignty: Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, acting as the primary "Source of Corrective Intelligence."
Response Architecture: Ensure robust emergency response preparedness and enforce permit-to-work systems, providing the "Functional Foundation" for physical and environmental safety.
Compliance Stewardship: Monitor HSE performance metrics and reporting, maintaining the "Source of Statutory Fidelity."
3. Operational Integrity & Readiness Power
Commissioning Sovereignty: Support operational readiness and commissioning/startup phases, acting as the primary "Source of Launch Integrity."
Culture Architecture: Drive a strong safety culture and safe work practices, providing the "Relational Foundation" for team accountability.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 7–10 years of Oil & Gas expertise to accelerate the "Risk-to-Mitigation" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Plant Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
Certification: NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory. ISO 9001/14001/45001 certifications are an advantage.
Experience: 7 – 10 years in HSE within the Oil & Gas sector (Gas processing, CNG, or similar).
Technical Power: Deep understanding of HAZID/HAZOP, QA/QC processes, and commissioning phases.
Location: Umungasi, Abia (Full-time).
