Job Description:

We are seeking a technically rigorous and highly disciplined HSE Officer to lead the safety engine of our manufacturing facility. In a complex production environment, success is defined by "Predictive Risk Mitigation", the ability to identify latent hazards before they manifest as incidents. This role is designed for a "Safety Architect" with at least 4 years of experience who can blend "Regulatory Rigor" with the "Empathetic Leadership" required to foster a deeply rooted safety culture across the production floor.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Incident Operations and Absolute Statutory Compliance." You will be the primary steward of our workplace health: responsible for conducting deep-dive risk assessments, managing environmental waste protocols, and leading the emergency response framework. If you possess "Analytical Prowess," hold NEBOSH/OSHA certifications, and have a proven track record in manufacturing safety, we want you to drive our operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Hazard Architecture & Risk Management

• Proactive Auditing: Conduct regular safety inspections and comprehensive workplace audits to identify physical, chemical, and ergonomic hazards.

• Risk Assessment: Utilize formal methodologies (such as HEMP or JHA) to assess risks and recommend high-impact corrective actions to engineering and management teams.

• Incident Intelligence: Lead forensic investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports that prioritize root-cause analysis (RCA) over mere description.

2. Regulatory Governance & Compliance

• Statutory Diplomacy: Ensure the facility remains 100% compliant with national and international HSE regulations, acting as the primary liaison during government inspections.

• Environmental Stewardship: Implement and monitor waste management and pollution control practices to minimize the facility's ecological footprint.

• Documentation Integrity: Maintain high-fidelity HSE records, including incident logs, safety metrics, and training registries, ensuring they are always "Audit-Ready."

3. Training & Emergency Preparedness

• Safety Induction: Design and deliver periodic training programs and inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure uniform safety literacy.

• Emergency Orchestration: Coordinate and lead high-stakes drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill) and ensure the readiness of first-aid and firefighting infrastructure.

• Safety Culture Advocacy: Promote an environment of "Behavioral Safety" through continuous awareness campaigns and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Occupational Health & Safety.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years as an HSE Officer specifically within a manufacturing environment.

• Certifications: Professional credentials such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly preferred.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Grit: Ability to identify subtle technical hazards and interpret complex regulatory standards.

• Communication Mastery: Strong interpersonal skills to influence both production floor staff and executive leadership.
