Job Description:
- Reporting to the managing Director, you will be responsible for the sale of the company’s products in Nigeria.
- You will provide ongoing support to distribute products in the entire country. Additionally, you will manage Regional Sales Managers.
- You will ensure profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products
- Research consumer needs and identify how the company’s products address them
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base and extends the company's global reach
- Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
Requirements:
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in managing sales in a corporate setting.
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
- Experience in penetration of new products into the local market.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
- Superb leadership ability.
- Proven record in creating a full sales team, pan Nigeria.
- Ability to travel as and when required.
