Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Head of Marketing & Communications to anchor the growth engine of our dual-format retail and QSR enterprise. In the hyper-competitive Nigerian consumer landscape, success is defined by "Brand Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize multi-channel promotions with the clinical precision required for Footfall Optimization, Basket-Size Expansion, and Reputational Crisis Management. This role is designed for a "Market Architect" with 7–10 years of experience (preferably in FMCG or Retail) who can blend "Creative Grit" (brand positioning) with the "Analytical Agility" required to track ROI, Conversion Rates, and Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC).
Requirements:
1. Growth Orchestration & Strategic Governance
Revenue Sovereignty: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with annual expansion targets, acting as the primary "Source of Market Penetration."
Budget Architecture: Lead annual planning and budget management across all outlets with millimetric focus, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in resource allocation.
Advisory Stewardship: Provide data-driven insights to the MD and Executive Team, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for corporate decision-making.
2. Experience Resilience & Engagement Logic
Format Sovereignty: Own brand positioning for both Supermarket and QSR formats, ensuring a consistent "Source of Brand Trust" across Nigeria.
Experience Architecture: Drive customer-centric strategies to improve in-store and dining experiences, acting as the primary "Source of Customer Retention."
Digital Stewardship: Lead performance marketing and CRM initiatives, ensuring the "Source of Customer Data" complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
3. Impact Integrity & Communications Power
Reputational Sovereignty: Oversee all external communications and media relations, acting as the primary "Source of Corporate Truth" during crisis management.
ESG Architecture: Integrate ESG and DEI principles into marketing strategies, providing the "Ethical Foundation" for inclusive messaging and community impact.
Regulatory Logic: Ensure all promotional materials comply with ARCON (Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria) guidelines, utilizing 7–10 years of expertise to maximize the "Source of Legal Compliance."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. An MBA or professional certification is a strategic advantage.
Experience: 7–10 years' leadership experience, specifically within the Retail, FMCG, or QSR sectors in Nigeria.
Technical Mastery: Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets, creative agencies, and complex vendor relationships.
