Job Description:
- The Head of Growth & Marketing will lead the Bank’s customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, and revenue growth strategy.
- The role is responsible for building scalable growth channels that drive retail deposits, SME deposits, savings accounts, and fixed deposit portfolios.
- As a founding leadership team member, the successful candidate will establish the growth structure, deposit mobilization framework, and market expansion strategy from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute the Bank’s overall growth strategy.
- Identify priority markets for retail and SME banking.
- Drive adoption of savings, loan, and payment products.
- Establish measurable growth targets and KPIs.
Deposit Mobilization:
- Drive growth in retail and SME deposit portfolios.
- Develop strategies for fixed deposit and term deposit mobilization.
- Promote savings products and structured deposit offerings.
- Build strong pipelines for high-value deposits and institutional funds.
Investment & Fixed Deposit Products:
- Promote fixed deposit investment opportunities to individuals and SMEs.
- Develop marketing campaigns for term investment products.
- Support treasury in growing the Bank’s stable deposit base.
- Monitor fixed deposit performance and growth trends.
Marketing & Brand Development:
- Lead the Bank’s marketing and brand positioning strategy.
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Support new product launch campaigns.
Digital Growth & Customer Acquisition:
- Implement digital marketing strategies to acquire new customers.
- Optimize online acquisition channels and campaign performance.
- Track and improve customer lifecycle engagement.
- Improve customer conversion and retention rates.
Partnerships & Distribution Channels
- Develop partnerships that drive deposit growth and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with fintechs, SMEs, and ecosystem partners.
- Build alternative distribution channels to expand market reach.
- Support corporate and institutional relationship development.
Growth Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor growth metrics including deposits, customers, and revenue.
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior.
- Provide strategic growth insights to executive management.
- Track performance against growth targets.
Team & Structure Development:
- Build and lead the Bank’s growth and marketing function.
- Establish processes, frameworks, and reporting structures.
- Recruit and develop high-performing growth professionals.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years experience in banking, fintech, or financial services growth roles.
- Proven track record in deposit mobilization and liability generation.
- Experience driving fixed deposit and retail deposit growth.
- Experience working within digital banking or fintech environments is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in deposit mobilization and liability generation.
- Proven experience driving fixed deposit and investment product growth.
- Strong digital marketing and customer acquisition capability.
- Strong commercial banking and SME market knowledge.
