Job Description:
Skynet Worldwide Express is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Head of Business / Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Courier and Express Delivery Division. In the hyper-competitive logistics landscape, success is defined by speed, scale, and strategic acquisition. This role is designed for a "Market Aggressor", a professional with over 5 years of industry experience who can blend high-level strategic planning with the "go-getter" spirit required to secure high-value corporate accounts.
Your mission is to ensure "Dominant Market Capture and Sustainable Revenue Growth." You will be the architect of our expansion strategy: responsible for building an elite sales force, negotiating major contracts, and aligning our service offerings with the evolving needs of the global marketplace. Requirements:
1. Strategic Market Acquisition & Revenue Engineering
Growth Architecture: Develop and implement aggressive strategic plans to expand our courier and express delivery footprint and increase market share.
High-Value Deal Origination: Identify, target, and secure partnerships with high-value corporate clients and strategic industry partners.
Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market dynamics and competitor movements to engineer pricing strategies and service offerings that ensure Skynet remains the "provider of choice."
2. High-Performance Leadership & Cultural Excellence
Team Orchestration: Build and mentor a results-oriented sales and business development team, fostering a culture of extreme accountability and excellence.
Performance Governance: Set and monitor rigorous Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), utilizing coaching and performance management to ensure the team consistently exceeds revenue goals.
Skill Enhancement: Lead ongoing training in advanced negotiation, client psychology, and enterprise sales techniques to elevate the team’s closing capabilities.
3. Relationship Governance & Operational Synergy
Strategic Relationship Management: Maintain a high-touch relationship with key corporate stakeholders, ensuring that Skynet becomes an indispensable part of their supply chain.
Operational Alignment: Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics and customer service teams to ensure that our "Sales Promise" is perfectly matched by our "Operational Delivery."
Data-Driven Reporting: Present comprehensive performance metrics to senior management, providing visibility into the sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue health.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Industry Mastery: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience specifically within the Courier and Express Delivery industry.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets in a sales leadership or commercial management capacity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Marketing (An MBA is a significant competitive advantage).
