Job Description:
People Strategy & Workforce Planning:
- Develop and execute a Human Capital strategy aligned with the Bank’s corporate strategy
- Lead workforce planning, succession, reskilling, mobility, and annual HR budgets
- Partner with Executive Management on organizational design, capability building, and growth initiatives
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for critical roles using fair, inclusive, and data-driven practices
- Strengthen employer brand through graduate programs, leadership pipelines, and talent initiatives
- Govern recruitment SLAs, onboarding quality, and candidate experience
Performance, Rewards & Recognition:
- Own performance management frameworks (OKRs/KPIs, calibration, feedback cycles)
- Design and manage compensation structures, job evaluation, incentives, and recognition programs
- Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations (PENCOM, NHF, NSITF, ITF, tax)
Learning, Leadership & Capability Development:
- Drive leadership development and functional academies (Credit, Risk, Sales, Operations, Digital)
- Implement structured learning pathways, certifications, and succession planning
- Maintain strong talent pipelines and bench strength for critical roles
Culture, Engagement & DEI:
- Lead culture transformation initiatives aligned with values, ethics, and leadership behaviors
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs
- Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion across hiring, development, and rewards
HR Operations, Digital & Shared Services:
- Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, exits, and policy governance
- Lead HR digital transformation (HRIS, ATS, LMS, performance systems, analytics)
- Ensure data integrity, automation, SLA compliance, and continuous improvement
Employee Relations, Governance & Compliance:
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and industrial relations (where applicable)
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Act, NDPR, health & safety, and internal policies
- Maintain HR risk register, audit readiness, controls, and Board-level reporting
Executive Advisory & Change Leadership:
- Act as strategic advisor to Executive Management on culture, transformation, and change
- Lead people due diligence, integrations, and organizational transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 12-15 years of relevant experience in banking industry.
