Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Strategy and Risk Management Manager to lead our organizational policies, risk mitigation frameworks, and internal audit controls. In this high-level role, you will be responsible for aligning operational plans with the company’s broader strategic objectives, managing enterprise-wide risk, and driving a culture of business resilience. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial services or consulting and the ability to report effectively to the executive board.
Requirements:
Strategic Alignment: Develop, execute, and manage system operating plans to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Risk Mitigation: Create innovative risk assessment methodologies to identify external and internal threats. Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive mitigation strategies.
Internal Control & Audit: Oversee the internal control environment and serve as the primary liaison for independent assurance and audit activities.
ORM Program Stewardship: Manage the Integrated Opportunity and Risk Management (ORM) program and maintain Group-wide risk registers and enterprise dashboards.
Business Continuity: Build and steward business resumption plans to ensure organizational resilience and efficiency.
Performance Metrics: Establish clear performance KPIs to track the execution of strategic actions and objective achievement across all business units.
Governance & Culture: Drive a corporate culture centered on risk awareness, accountability, and disciplined execution.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree (MBA) is strongly preferred.
Experience: 9+ years of relevant experience in risk management, corporate strategy, consulting, or financial services.
Industry Expertise: Previous experience within banking, investment management, asset management, or diversified financial services is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in enterprise risk, strategy formulation, performance management, and preparing high-level reports for board/executive consideration.
Certifications: Global Association of Risk Professionals (FRM) certification is required.
