We are seeking a visionary and highly sophisticated General Manager to spearhead our operations across two of Nigeria’s most elite locations: Maitama, Abuja, and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. This is a high-stakes leadership role that requires a rare blend of operational excellence, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate the nuances of high-end service delivery.
As the General Manager, you will be the primary custodian of the brand’s reputation and profitability in these key markets. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage large-scale budgets, and drive strategic growth while ensuring that every aspect of the business reflects the prestige associated with its locations. Requirements:
1. Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
Business Growth: Develop and execute localized business strategies for the Abuja and Lagos markets to maximize revenue and market share.
Financial Governance: Take full ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, optimizing operational costs while protecting margins.
Capital Allocation: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure long-term business sustainability.
2. Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Implement and enforce world-class SOPs across all departments to ensure consistent service delivery.
Supply Chain & Infrastructure: Oversee facility management, procurement, and technical operations to ensure the physical assets remain in peak condition.
Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and implement robust mitigation strategies and compliance frameworks.
3. Stakeholder Management & Team Culture
High-Net-Worth Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for VIP clients, regulatory bodies, and high-profile stakeholders in Maitama and Lekki.
Leadership Development: Build and mentor a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the organization at industry events and public forums, enhancing the brand's prestige in the market.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, or a related field. (An MBA or relevant professional certification like PMP or NIM is highly desirable).
Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (General Manager or Director level).
Location Presence: Candidates must be able to provide executive oversight for both the Abuja (Maitama) and Lagos (Lekki) operations.
